IPSA Research Council 05 successfully held the panel “The Future of Local Democracy in Times of Crisis: Autonomy, Capacity and Democratic Resilience” as part of IPSA WiPS (Work in Progress Sessions) on the 14th of July 2026.
Convened by Carmen Navarro (RC05 Chair) and José Hernández Bonivento (RC05 Vice Chair) the panel attracted participants from four continents, fostered very fruitful discussions, and was able to provide valuable feedback to the paper presenters.
